One seal, one promise: this brand tells you what’s actually in the bottle and proves it with a lab report. It’s an editorial transparency mark — not a health claim, and never for sale. We award it on disclosure, not on advertising.
What earns the seal
The whole kanna market runs on one recurring problem: you can’t tell how strong a product is, because most don’t say. The seal exists to reward the brands that solve it. Three things, all verifiable:
A disclosed potency number
The label (or published spec) states a real figure — a mesembrine percentage, a total-alkaloid percentage, a standardized extract like Zembrin, or a clearly-stated extract dose. A mystery “proprietary blend” with no number does not qualify.
A published, batch-matched COA
A third-party Certificate of Analysis is available and matches the batch being sold — at minimum confirming the alkaloid content, ideally with a contaminant panel. “Lab tested” with no document you can actually see is not enough.
Labeling that matches the lab
What the package claims and what the COA shows line up. If a brand prints 4% mesembrine, the report has to back it. We re-check when a brand reformulates, and a brand can lose the seal if disclosure slips.
What the seal is not: it is not a claim that a product is effective, safe for you, or FDA-approved — kanna supplements aren’t evaluated by the FDA and aren’t intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
